"All we can say is “Wow!” We came to Rhode Island to visit with cousins and relax. Being the great hosts they are, they took us around to see the sights and eat at the best spots and boy… your place was definitely no letdown. We came by boat, 9 of us and ate like royalty until we couldn’t move. Shrimp, steamers, mussels and then LOBSTERS! So fresh and delicious and the view of the harbor was amazing at sunset. Just had to let you know these “Indiana” cousins can hardly wait to come back and visit the Corneau cousins and make another trip to Abbott’s!"

"My grandmother, Mary Alice Arnold, used to serve up huge bowls of lobster when I was a little girl, back in the very early 60s (my grandma died in 1964). My mother used to bring us back to Noank, and to Abbott's Lobster, for years after that. My sisters and our family's still come to Abbott's on those rare occasions when we can come to Noank. But I always tell everyone about the best lobster place in the US - Abbott's. It's an experience you never forget.

Also, whenever I mention Abbott's Lobster to people, I am always amazed at the response - many of them have been there, and all say it's the best place to get lobster in the states! Seems we CAN all agree on something! Hope to be eating there soon!"
Liana Simon, Orlando, Florida

"I haven't been to Abbott's in over 20 years, but I can still taste the experience and remembered how to spell Noank. As a child Abbott's was my mother's favorite place. Her family lived in Westerly, R.I. and we spent summers in the area. Thinking back, I believe Abbott's was the real reason she took the kids to Mystic Seaport! Abbott's was her end of day reward. I am planning a New England trip with my kids for next summer and one stop will certainly be Abbott's, (and Mystic Seaport). I now live in the Washington D.C. area where crabs are the crustacean of choice. I haven't been to a crab feast yet that beats a meal at Abbott's."
Deborah Sholtes Boyds, Maryland

"Hi - I just wanted you to know that my request for Mother's Day each year is to spend it at Abbott's. This will be our approximately 7th time. Rain or shine, hot or cold (we have one picture of us snuggled in winter coats) I always look forward to it. Thanks for being there and for being sumptuous!"

"First customer of the season! Best lobster we've had!"

"Great Longevity "
Marge and Ellis, Noank, Connecticut

"Have a great season, so happy to be back!"
Dave and Evelyn, Cromwell, Connecticut

"Nice to be back!"
Rene, Manila, Philippines

"Our favorite place"
Bob, Marlborough, Connecticut

"Always stop when in area!"
Joe and Denise, Honesdale, Pennsylvania

"Always the best- Worth the trip!"
John, San Pedro, California

"What a fun place, but harder than hell to find!"
Gary and Annie, Ypsilanti, Michigan

"Great as always!"
Ernie and Dot, Rockville, Connecticut

"Oh please stay open until the end of October! We will be in the area Oct 19th and 20th and are disappointed beyond belief that you won't be open for business after Columbus Day. Guess we had better plan our trip next year with a bit more care - see you in 2005! "

Dear Abbott's Restaurant,

I am writing this letter to tell you that I chose your restaurant to review for a school project. I felt that the food in your restaurant was very good. I had one of your lobster dinners. How do you make your lobsters taste so good? Your service is awesome! Your employees are really nice. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars. I gave your restaurant a very good review. I can't wait 'til it opens up in the spring. Your restaurant is so good.

Sincerely,
Erik Anderson
